Working effectively with employers in the design and delivery of apprenticeships is fundamental to the quality of your training. The UK workforce has also undergone massive change over the last 2-years – what employers needed from providers then, isn’t necessarily what they need now..
That’s why we hosted this practical free online Apprenticeship Summit for providers – to help you get under the skin of what it means to work effectively with employers and review your own practice, from top to bottom.
Sponsored by our friends over at NCFE and, this event recording will help you refine your strategy and practice for the coming academic year.
As well as hearing two excellent inputs from Arit Eminue and Suzanne Slater, the event included four short sharp “lightbulb” sessions from sector experts to challenge your thinking and practice:
1. Employers as the champion or thief of quality with Louise Doyle
2. Employers as co-designers of your curriculum with Chris Cherry
3. Employers as coaches and mentors with Simon Shaw
4. Training apprentices for the future world of work with Erica Farmer
The day also included two facilitated breakouts (slides included below)
