The Office for Students (OfS) has been undertaking external quality assurance of integrated end-point assessments (EPA) for over a year, so it is a good opportunity to reflect, learn and incorporate insights into ongoing practice.
Whilst integrated EPA forms part of the broader degree, there are several significant requirements related to the OfS quality assurance approach (including Condition B4) which you will need to consider carefully and comply with. The session included insights from the University Of Derby, who have undertaken the EQA activity and Sean Lancastle from the OfS Integrated Degree Apprenticeship EQA team.
This free session took you through:
- The experiences of providers and OfS through the EQA process
- the key areas to consider in your preparation for delivery of integrated end point assessment
- the requirements of OfS quality assurance readiness checks
- the requirements OfS quality assurance monitoring checks
- the practical implications for those delivering integrated EPA
